UPDATE: This job posting is now filled as of April 1, 2012
Thank you for your interest!

Ever wondered how to get involved in the wine world?  Here is a great job opportunity for not only 1 person…but 2 people! A well-established wine & spirits agency is looking for two sales representatives for the Toronto and Ottawa markets. This agency, based in Toronto has operated for over 20 years representing a diverse portfolio of wines and premium spirits through all LCBO channels – General List, Vintages, Consignment and Private Stock.

This full-time position as a agency representative is focused on licensees (restaurants, hotels, clubs etc.) sales in their respective territory.

The wine sales agent position includes:

  • Compensation of a monthly base salary (current going rate/standard)
  • Commission for consignment sales
  • Bonus for back bar listings, well brand’s and house wine (by the glass) listing’s.
  • Generous sampling allowance
  • Expenses
  • Gas allowance

Ideally, the candidate would have 1 year or more experience selling to licensees;  however, a wine knowledgeabe sales
oriented beginner may be considered.

While the client would ideally like to hire a full-time representative, an experienced sales representative who is available
on a part-time basis (minimum 3 days per week) may also be considered.

This job is now filled….however if you are interested in becoming a wine agent or working in the wine & beer industry, let us know by sending an email to cheers@savvycompany.ca.  We are frequently contacted by agencies & wineries looking for people to help sell their wines.

Cheers!
