This Taste & Buy event features 15 wineries along with The County’s only craft brewery Barley Days Brewery & hard apple ciders made at The County Cider Company.

NEW this year! Cheesemakers from Black River Cheese & Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co. along with hand made pasta from the region’s new Pasta Tavola will be treating you to gourmet goodies.

We can’t wait! Prince Edward County is returning to Ottawa to for our 3rd annual County in the City Taste & Buy event.  This evening will shine the spotlight on 16 wineries, The County’s only craft brewery – Barley Days – and hard apple ciders made at The County Cider Company.  All good wines, craft beers & ciders deserve to be enjoyed with good food, this year you will enjoy cheeses from Black River Cheese and Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co and gourmet pasta from the region’s newest pasta maker Pasta Tavola. Who knew that there was so much to discover in The County??

County in the City“Prince Edward County is growing so quickly, it is impossible to cover the map in a weekend getaway”, states our Debbie Trenholm.  “County in the City will give everyone a taste of what is in store when you make the roadtrip and also gives you the opportunity to meet all of the cool people involved in growing The County. ”

County in the City is one of Savvy Company’s Taste & Buy events showcasing wines, ciders and craft beers that are not available at the LCBO.  Join us & you have the unique opportunity to order any combination of their County favorites to be delivered by courier to a work or home address in Ontario. Exclusive to this event, there will be free shipping on orders of 12 bottles or more.

What is a Taste & Buy event?

A Taste & buy event is an opportunity for you to sample any number of the featured wines (there will be over 50 wines!) and order directly from the winery.  Exclusive at this event, orders can be ANY combination of wines from ANY of the wineries and the wines will be delivered by courier to an Ontario address.   And Savvy Company’s Sommeliers will be on hand to share wine recommendations and guide event goers to ‘must try wines’ based on their personal preferences.
