A wonderful collaboration by our friends at Gunn’s Hill Artisan Cheese who teamed up with Yana & Tatiana who recently moved to Canada from the Ukraine. These hard working moms are sharing their traditional, Ukrainian-style recipe of varenyky filled with the unique combination of Gunn’s Hill signature 5 Brothers cheese & potato. Each pocket is handmade lovingly by these hard working young women.
Whether you prefer to boil or fry them – in the Savvy kitchen we like to do both!
Cooking instructions: Boil in hot water for 4 – 6 minutes then transfer to a frying pan with butter, bacon & onions – fry til browned. Sold frozen & can be kept in freezer for up to 4 months. Each bag contains 12-15 dumplings. A perfect meal for 2 people.
