Viticultural practices included vertical shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal – all this special attention in the vineyard shines through in the final wine.

The winemaking team at Tawse state that 2022 was an impeccable vintage in Ontario, offering dry and hot growing conditions. It produced wines of great depth and concentration.
This unoaked chardonnay shows intense aromas of green apples, white flower (like freesia) and wet stone (not such an unusual aroma for Chardonnay!) .
With each sip, this medium-bodied white wine offers round and juicy mouthfeel with a long and balanced finished. This white wine would be a beautiful pairing with dishes like pan seared fish (think halibut, tilapia or cod) served as tacos, or pasta with chicken and mushroom alfredo sauce or with grilled kebabs of red and green peppers, mushrooms and onions. Or better yet…enjoy a glass of this wine chilled with a plate of artisan cheese and charcuterie.Â
