Sourced from the Nedelko Vineyard on Niagara’s Twenty Mile Bench, the UV Merlot Cab 2020 brings together Merlot (52%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (48%) in a bold, expressive blend. The vineyard’s limestone soils and low yields produce fruit of concentration and finesse.
The 2020 vintage was warm and dry, delivering perfectly ripe grapes. Both varietals were fermented separately, then aged 17 months in French oak (45% new) before blending. This patient approach created a wine with structure, balance, and a silky texture.
A classic Niagara Bordeaux-style blend—beautiful today and built to evolve through 2030 and beyond.
