As with most years, the Pinot Gris grapes were the first to be harvested. It was deemed one of the great successes of the 2021 vintage. The fruit was harvested in late September under ideal conditions, allowing the retention of good acidity and structure before frequent bouts of rain started in October. This vintage was Barrel Fermented on lees (in contact with the yeast) in 500L neutral French oak puncheons for 6 months prior to assemblage and bottling.

A delicious white wine made by renown winemaker Dan Sullivan at Rosehall Run. This wine has a crisp apricot and peach aromas and a slight perfume of lemon on the nose.
A refreshing taste with notes of stone fruit (think pear, apricot & peach) combined with crunchy apple with creamy finish from extended lees contact (winespeak: wine in contact with the yeast during fermentation).
A great wine to serve with fish – salmon, haddock, tilapia – steamed mussels, lobster, crab…or pour a glass and enjoy with your feet up!
