Reif Estate Winery ‘The Magician’ Shiraz Pinot 2019

A unique blend of 80% Shiraz and 20% Pinot Noir grapes. Hand harvested then dried in kilns at the winery for 3 weeks to naturally evaporate the water in the grapes & extract the flavour of fruit.

The grapes were crushed and fermented on skins for 14 days. After pressing, the wine was moved into new and old French barriques. The result? A full bodied red wine with silky tannins and dark berry fruit aromas and tastes on this well-structured wine create a long smooth finish.

In each glass, you’ll find a balanced acidity that interplays with black pepper, spice, black cherry, blackberry and chocolate notes. Good for grilled meats, roasts, especially lamb and hearty stews. Also a nice evening companion when paired with a sharp cheese or dark chocolate.
