Derek Barnett – winemaker and owner of the virutal winery – Meldville Wines – crafts outstanding small batch wines. We are thrilled to have him launch this new white wine at Corks & Forks Wine Festival. Whether you call it Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio, this white wine is outstanding.
A beautiful bright yellow hue fills your glass with aromas of apples, pears and melon. There is a vibrant acidity balanced by a rich texture with notes of yellow apples and Bosc pear flavours, with a ripe citrus note on the finish.
Delicious chilled on its own, picnic fare, or fish dishes…this newly released Pinot Gris is stunning – like all wines made by Derek.
