Fumé Blanc is made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes that have been aged in barrel. The result is a rich tasting wine in contrast to a zippy Sauvignon Blanc wine. This Fumé Blanc has beautiful flavours of yellow apple, grapefruit with a touch of fennel on the finish. A well balanced wine that would be delicious with fish, pork, chicken and of course risotto – owner & winemaker Derek Barnett’s favourite wine & food pairing.
