A full-bodied red wine, this blend has bold and intense character with aromas of raspberry, red currant and blackberry jam. There are complex layers of black cherry and floral notes with rich flavours of freshly ground espresso beans, licorice and as Fred explains ” fresh dug beets”. You know that smell?
Delicious with a roast with all the trimmings, BBQ steak or portabello mushrooms or a HUGE charctuerie board with loads of artisan cheeses, fruit, salami & nuts.
