Farmgate Cider is a family run business located in the Ottawa Valley that is rapidly growing and building an incredible reputation for premium small batch ciders. This cider is aged “on the lees” (ciderspeak: with yeast contact) that results in a complex nose and flavour profile. Due to the nature of wild ferments, the wild yeast found naturally on apples have a bigger influence in Funkhaus, meaning there is more variation barrel to barrel than Farmgate’s other ciders.
