This is a hard-to-find wine. The winemaker chose to use the French saigneé method to make this dry rosé wine. This method does not involve crushing the grapes, rather allows the weight of the grapes to naturally break the skins and allows the grapes ‘to bleed’.

Made at a virtual winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake by winemaker Mitchell ‘Ev’ McCurdy who is also the head winemaker at Marynissen Estate Winery.
This wine is made with 100% Syrah grapes – giving intense pink colour in the wine. When you open the wine, you’ll immediately notice aromas of homemade strawberry rhubarb jam, raspberry, some minerality with hints of violet. Rich, full, and round on the palate with raspberry, strawberry, and rhubarb flavours leading into a tart lemon and lime finish.
Serve chilled on its own or with salmon, sushi, picnic salads or grilled pork tenderloin.
