Ev makes his small-batch ciders using the juice of Bartlett pears grown in Niagara. As part of the cider making process, he ferments the perry juice in aged in Reposado Tequila barrels, then allows the cider to mellow in bottle before releasing.
Each sip tastes like a sunny vacation. This perry cider has fresh orchard fruit notes on the nose with warm baking spices (think fresh out of the oven apple pie) with biscuit, melon rind plus a touch of vanilla. There are some lemon-lime flavours and a touch of acidity on the finish. A delicious cider!
