Drea’s Wine Co. Cabernet Franc 2020

Cabernet Franc wines are typically medium-bodied with a savoury mouthwatering taste and are a very versatile food pairing wine.

Andrea Kaiser’s intended to craft a Cabernet Franc more atuned to her style – bone dry with rich prominent flavours of black currant.  This premium red wine was kept in three barriques (smaller sized oak barrels) for just over eight months to give the wine some added complexity and soft vanilla notes.

Absolutely delicious red wine that is ready to enjoy now with grilled lamb as was enjoyed at the Winemakers Dinner during the Corks & Forks Festival or with grilled portabello mushrooms, or a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings.  You might be tempted to order a couple of bottles to enjoy now and cellar the others for a few years to see how the wine evolves over time.  A stunning red wine!
