Divergence Gamay Rosé 2023

Pale pink colour makes this an interesting Gamay Noir Rosé.  To add some oomph, winemaker Jeff Moote added in a splash of Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

Pour yourself a glass of this wine chilled and enjoy the aromas of fresh red berries (strawberry, cherry and raspberry) along with pink grapefruit zest. On the palate, the wine is bright and lively with refreshing acidity, adding a distinct guava note to flavours that match the nose.

A stunning wine that will be ideal with summertime foods, spicy Indian dishes, turkey and grilled salmon or grilled veggies….or just a glass on its own,

Winemaker Notes: Made with Gamay from the Creek Road Vineyard, this rosé all about bringing together expression of site, grape variety, and technique. Hand harvested grapes, whole cluster pressing, a saignée portion, and blending in a splash of Sauvignon Blanc (from the same site!) make this a stylish and serious rosé.

The different components were blended and allowed to integrate for a few months before bottling. Fresh, fruity, textured, and complex, the wine is perfect for any occasion.
