The 2023 growing season was cool until a late-summer heat wave accelerated ripening. Both Syrah and Viognier were harvested on the same day for balance. Grapes were crushed, soaked on skins for 12 hours, and pressed. Fermentation and seven months in barrel gave the wine weight and texture.
This is not a simple, light rosé. It’s layered, savoury, and structured, yet still fresh and food-friendly. A wine that proves Niagara can make serious rosé with personality.
