Laura’s Red is one of Creekside Estate Winery’s most iconic red blends, crafted as a tribute to Laura McCain, a founding force in modern Ontario winemaking and a member of the McCain family behind the famous frozen foods brand. Creekside was established in the 1980s and remains a cornerstone of Niagara Peninsula wine history. Each vintage of Laura’s Red is intentionally distinct, shaped by that year’s growing conditions and the finest barrels in the cellar.
The 2022 vintage delivered exceptional quality across Niagara, producing fruit with depth, intensity, and impressive aging potential. Each varietal in the blend was fermented separately in stainless steel and small bins before aging in oak for 30 months. The goal remains the same every year: to craft a wine with structure and longevity while preserving fruit-driven approachability.
