Cloudsley Cellars Twenty Mile Bench Pinot Noir 2020

We’re delighted to introduce you to this new winery from Beamsville Bench in Niagara.  This little known winery is making a big impression with their quality wines like this Pinot Noir.

Made with grapes sourced from grape growers located in the Twenty Mile Bench sub-appellation.

Aromas and tastes of ripe red fruit (think cherry, currants, raspberry) with smooth tannins that leave an elegant creamy finish.

A classic match with Pinot Noir is grilled salmon. Add in roasted vegetables – especially mushrooms – and this will be a perfect pairing!

Wine Review by Rick VanSickle, Wines in Niagara:

92 points.

This is nicely perfumed with brambly raspberries, red cherries and red currants that is fruity without being too earthy with just a pinch of spice. The melange of red fruits is integrated on the palate with ever-so-subtle savoury/earthy notes adding complexity, a touch of anise, smooth tannins, and a finessed finish.

Wine Review by Decanter Magazine:

93 points. Elegantly scented, with notes of cherries and raspberries, hints of olive tapenade and cream on the nose. The palate has charm, red fruit and a measured generosity. Well defined and pure with a lovely crunch.
