Closson Chase South Clos Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021

The signature Pinot Noir wine elegantly made by Closson Chase’s winemaker Keith Tyers, this red wine has notes of cherry, strawberry, rose, fresh herbs, and cedar that greet the nose. As you sip this medium bodied red wine, you’ll notice flavours evolve with red fruit, campfire smoke, forest floor (think the smell as you walk in the woods) with a long lingering finish.

Being a Pinot Noir, this wine can be enjoyed now or keep in your cellar for 3-5 years to let the flavours evolve. Why not buy 2 or 3 bottles? Open one now, then put the others in your cellar to enjoy how the wine ages over time.

When you uncork the wine, serve with grilled red meat or pork, wild mushroom ragout, or a classic Pinot Noir food pairing is with salmon.

Wine Reviews: “It’s so well balanced and succulent, with that hallmark PEC cool, stony character, very fine, silky tannins and a structure based firmly on acids, comfortably ripe as they are… A finely-hewn and stylish wine all in all.” -John Szabo, Master Sommelier (MS)

“This lovely pinot is from the oldest vines on the property, now approaching 25 years, and there is an extra measure of weight and fruit depth, comparing to the Churchside and Vineyard bottlings.” – David Lawrason
