Closson Chase is one of the first wineries in Prince Edward County and their premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines have helped put this growing wine region on the map. This white wine unveils aromas of canned peaches, honey and handmade pie dough (know that smell?) with delicate floral notes. With each sip of this spectacular Chardonnay, you’ll enjoy fresh taste that may remind you of juicy white peach and toasted nuts. The nice acidity cleanses and leads to a layered finish with good lengths in the finish. This wine is whole cluster pressed then 100% barrel fermented. Less than 10% new oak, the rest in seasoned French oak barrels to round out the mouthfeel. A stunning wine to enjoy with grilled or poached fish, seafood pasta with cream sauce, pork tenderloin or chicken menus…or simply on its own with artisan cheese.
