Try this delicious Riesling from the Applehouse Vineyard in Prince Edward County. Planted over 20 years ago by Richard and Vida Johnson – owners and winemakers at By Chadsey’s Cairns, the vines in their Applehouse Vineyard consistently produce wines of character and depth.
The 2019 vintage was bountiful and produced a lovely Riesling with flavours of nectarine and honeycomb. The fermentation finished slightly early to provide the perfect balance of sugar and acidity — not quite an off-dry wine, but nearly so.
Pair this with shrimp or seafood or if you love Riesling, sip on its own.
