“The colour is a little deeper than the “Les Villages,” but the nose – while still a little mute – is fairly brimming with red fruit, minted raspberries with a clove-spiced edge. It swirls as it dances across the palate. Darker-toned flavours ‘cut into’ the beam of the cherry fruit dance. Huge volume and sense of place on the impressive slatey finish from these older vines!”
