When Mariza and Bob Murdoch purchased the former DiProfio Winery during the pandemic, they left corporate life behind for vineyard life — a “complete 180 in life,” which inspired the winery’s name. Together with acclaimed winemaker Ramsey Khairallah, whose 16-year career has taken him from Australia and New Zealand to France and the U.S., the family now focuses on small-batch wines that express Niagara’s terroir with integrity and freshness.
The Red 2022 is their new signature blend, uniting Gamay Noir’s juicy brightness with the depth of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Each component contributes to the wine’s harmony — ripe red fruit, gentle spice, and soft tannins layered over a medium body and dry finish.
