We knew the Gamay grapes worked magic while under the stewardship of the DiProfio family. During the sampling of the 180 Estate Wines portfolio, our Sommeliers were delighted to taste the magic again with this wine.
Made with estate grown grapes, this is a light to medium bodied red wine that is smooth with loads of red fruit (think juicy Niagara cherry, red plum, overripe raspberry) with a dash of chocolate that rounds out the flavours.
Crack open next time you have homemade pizza, lasagna or pasta with meat sauce.
This can be cellared for 5-7 years that will see the red fruit flavours transform into more warm baking spices.

When Mariza & Bob Murdoch bought DiProfio Winery during the pandemic, they traded their corporate jobs for long hours tending to the vineyards that surround the family’s home on the winery’s estate. This change in lifestyle meant ‘pulling a complete 180 in life”, which became a natural fit to be the new name of the winery.
